Hundreds of Pakistani-American professionals, entrepreneurs, business executives, community leaders, and families gathered in Herndon, Virginia, on August 9 for a special meet-and-greet with Congressman Suhas Subramanyam, who represents Virginia’s 10th Congressional District. The event, co-hosted by entrepreneurs Fazal Sirhindi and Mansoor Qureshi, brought together members of the Pakistani-American community from across Northern Virginia and the greater Washington metropolitan area.
The gathering served as a platform for community engagement, networking, and open dialogue with congressional leadership. Attendees discussed issues related to entrepreneurship, economic growth, civic participation, education, and opportunities for future generations of Pakistani-Americans. The event also provided an opportunity for community members to connect with business leaders, professionals, and public officials.
During his remarks, Congressman Subramanyam praised the Pakistani-American community for its strong work ethic, entrepreneurial achievements, and valuable contributions to Virginia’s economy and society. He encouraged greater civic involvement and emphasized the importance of participating in the democratic process. The congressman also addressed topics related to immigration and opportunity, highlighting America’s history as a nation of immigrants and the importance of creating pathways for success.
