Sidharth Malhotra’s The Vvaan Earns Over ₹33 Crore in Opening Weekend

Sidharth Malhotra’s film The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest collected an estimated ₹33.25 crore net in India during its first three days, giving the actor his biggest domestic opening weekend in 11 years. The figures, reported on Monday, show the film gaining momentum across the weekend despite mixed critical reaction.

The film opened with ₹8 crore on Friday, earned ₹11.25 crore on Saturday and rose to ₹14 crore on Sunday, according to figures cited by The Indian Express. Its reported worldwide gross had reached ₹43.15 crore. These are early box-office estimates and may be revised as final collections are confirmed.

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film stars Malhotra alongside Tamannaah and Sunil Grover. Its opening-weekend total places it among the actor’s strongest theatrical starts and above the reported opening weekend of his debut film, Student of the Year. The film has also continued to draw audiences while competing with other releases already in cinemas.

A strong opening does not yet establish whether The Vvaan will be a long-term box-office success. Its weekday collections will offer a clearer picture of audience demand after the initial weekend. For now, Monday’s figures give Malhotra a notable commercial result and make the film one of the Bollywood box-office stories to watch this week.
